skyemod. is the moderation tool used by the moderators of the room you are dealing with. It is run by those moderators, not by y99 and not by a third-party company. Only the moderators of that room can see what you send.
Before you can appeal or report, we send a short code as a private message to the y99 account you name, and you type it back. This is how we know the account is yours, so that nobody can appeal a ban or file a report in someone else's name. The code expires after a few minutes and is discarded once used.
We record the name you give, your y99 username, what you wrote in your appeal, and the address you sent it from. We also record a snapshot of your public y99 profile as it stood at that moment: your display picture, bio, age, gender, level and country. Where the ban was for something you wrote, the messages concerned are shown to the moderators alongside your appeal, so they can weigh it in context.
The address you sent it from is kept to stop the form being flooded, not to identify you beyond that.
We record your y99 username as the person reporting, the reason you give, and the same kind of public profile snapshot of the person you reported. The room's recent messages are recorded with it, so the moderators can see what was going on. If the room allows it, you may attach a screenshot.
Your name is not shown in the room. Where the report was made with a chat command, the message is removed again so others don't see who reported whom. Depending on the room's settings, you may be told privately on y99 that your report arrived and what was decided.
Appeals and reports are kept as a record of the decision, so that a later appeal can be judged against what happened before. Moderators can delete them. Attached screenshots are deleted along with the report they belong to.
These pages set no tracking or advertising cookies. A short-lived session cookie may be used while you are working through the form.
You do not have to appeal or report; both are voluntary. If you would like to know what is held about you, or want it deleted, write to the address below. Some records may be kept where they are needed to enforce a ban or to defend a decision that was made.
